Concord was one of the first companies to introduce machines with Re-usable Molybdenum wire technology in India in the year 2000. The main advantage of this technology is the ability to reuse the wire, low power consumption and relatively easier operation.
In addition, the cost of ownership was so low that, many small companies started using WEDM machines in their own shop. The speed, surface finish and accuracies of these machines, though not in the same league as the Brass Wire Machines, was acceptable for many applications and the added advantage of very low running costs made these machines popular in the last 20 years.
Concord has installed over 1000 machines of various sizes all over India for various Industrial applications like Defence, Aerospace, Tool Rooms, Automobile,Medical Equipment, General Engineering, Job Workshops and Educational Institutions.
