Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) is organizing its first ever Machine Tool Expo in Pune. This is the third regional machine tool expo being organized by IMTMA. The 4 days show will feature around 100 exhibitors who will display state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovations for both metal cutting and metal forming as well as cost effective automation, material handling and quality control systems and equipment, together with off-the-shelf production aids, accessories, consumables, software and consultancy.
The expo will be significant for India’s western region with presence of leading manufacturing companies. Western region is a key contributor towards manufacturing growth in India. Pune is known as the Detroit of western India. The city is base to a large number of industries in auto, auto ancillary, heavy engineering, aerospace, defence, ordnance and many other manufacturing segments. Organizing a machine tool expo in Pune will enable the industries based in the western region to exchange ideas, gain access to new technologies for enhancing their productivity and meet all their production requirements.
Expressing his views on Pune machine tool expo 2016, Mr. P.G. Jadeja, President, IMTMA said “The expo has shaped up well and IMTMA has received tremendous response from large number of trade delegations for user sectors around the region to visit the exhibition. The momentum that has been built up by many initiatives such as Make in India, announcement of Capital Goods Policy, passing of Goods and Services Tax, etc. will renew the thrust on manufacturing and machine tools will once again occupy central position through this expo.”
IMTMA expects large number of footfalls for Pune Machine Tool Expo 2016 and foresees good business generation for the exhibitors from the show. Visitors can log on to www.mtx.co.in to get more details and register for visiting the exhibition.
