excellent headway in India. During 2016, Kemppi India saw substantial growth. Growing exports played a major role in the company’s success, as did increased imports from Finland to large Indian customers.

Kemppi India is participating in the Indian government’s Skill India campaignby taking part in the establishment of more than 20 centers of excellence for teaching modern welding expertise. Future goals in sight
In 2016, foreign investments in India reached an all-time high, totaling 21.6 billion USD. The growth from the previous year was a staggering 30%. India continues to be an attractive target for global investments in 2017. Major reforms in power and infrastructure are expected in 2017. As welding is closely linked to these industries, its outlook for the current year is highly positive.
