Rajkot Machine Tools Show Proves To Be A Resounding Success

The 9th Rajkot Machine Tools Show (RMTS), held from September 25-28 at the NSIC Ground in Rajkot, was a transformative event for the industry, held alongside the Castings & Foundries Expo India. Sponsored by iNDEXTb and major industry players like Yamazaki Mazak, Laser Technologies, and Hindustan Hydraulics, RMTS offered a comprehensive showcase of the latest advancements across various industrial sectors.

The exhibition featured an impressive array of products and technologies, including machine tools, cutting and forming equipment, robotics and automation systems, electronics and electrical components, industrial lubricants, materials handling equipment, and IT-enabled services. The range extended to hydraulics and pneumatics, air compressors, pumps and valves, testing and measuring instruments, welding equipment and consumables, as well as gears, bearings, motors and drives, and surface finishing and blasting equipment. With 4500 products on display across 16 halls and 500 stalls spread over a 40,000-square-meter exhibition area, RMTS was a significant industry platform with global appeal.

This year’s event saw participation from 11 countries, including Germany, Japan, China, the USA, Taiwan, Korea, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey, and the UK, underscoring RMTS’s growing international reach. The event was further supported by the Ministry of MSME under the Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme, reinforcing its role in promoting small and medium enterprises in the sector.

Participants shared their insights on RMTS’s role in the industry’s growth and its impact on Rajkot’s status as a major manufacturing hub. Rajkot has evolved from a technology importer to an exporter, serving over 20 countries and becoming a key part of a reliable supply chain supporting multiple sectors, both domestically and globally. This transformation owes much to the opportunities provided by RMTS, which continues to be instrumental in the region’s journey toward self-reliance and industrial innovation.
